In the early months of 2020, the streetscapes, cityscapes and landscapes of the United States began to change. The COVID-19 pandemic was the catalyst for a massive transformation in this country. - both psychologically and politically. But even before the pandemic hit our shores, a massive cultural and political divide between various classes had been building for years. The pandemic uncorked a powder keg brewing for decades and the American reality was about to suddenly change. During 2020, I traveled across the United States to document what I observed - which was a country deeply polarized, fractured and in pain. This book is a collection of photographs and a historical record detailing the effects of the worst pandemic in a generation and the ways in which our great nation persevered, reacted and strived to overcome.
